Commit to Daily Prayer
As we seek to grow closer to Christ we upset Satan’s plan to destroy us so he will begin to attack us at our weakest points. To know about his attacks is one thing but to know how to resist our desires, temptations, and his attacks is quite another. Did you get that, he attacks us, but we are reminded in James 4:7 that if we "Submit to God, and resist the Devil, he will flee from us."
Submitting to God is our choosing not only to acknowledge and truths but actually apply the principles and truths learned from God's word, and trusting God's promise to provide us with whatever we need to accomplish his purpose for us. Submission is a military term meaning " to arrange troops under the leadership of the commander." As we become serious about submitting to God's leadership as commanding officer we will be intentional about putting on the armor of God. But with that armor is learning to communicate with God. Zechariah 13:9 tells us, "I will bring that group through the fire and make them pure, just as gold and silver are refined and purified by fire. They will call on my name, and I will say, 'These are my people,' and they will say, 'The Lord is our God.'"
Daily throughout the day we must continually pray for God's will in our lives, to reaffirm our trust in God, our resubmission to God’s authority over our lives, and for our daily protection. Through prayer, we open ourselves to the Holy Spirit's leading and control in our lives, and to reveal to us the things in our lives that could become a stumbling block between our relationship with God.
The intent of this prayer guide is not to equip you with eloquent words to impress others or God. God is more concerned with your heart that your words. However, it is helpful for us to learn how to pray so that our prayer time consist of more that a material wish list. Regardless how you pray the Holy Spirit is your intercessor. The most important thing to remember about prayer is that God hears your prayer(s). May the Holy Spirit lead you as you submit to his guidance in your prayer life.

My Daily Prayer
Acknowledge
God as the Supreme Authority
Dear God, holy Trinity, you alone
are worthy of all my worship and praise. Thank you for loving me and choosing
me and providing a means of salvation for me even before the creation of the world. You are my Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer. I honor you surrender my soul, spirit, body, mind, and will, totally and
completely to you.
Father, thank you for loving me enough to send Jesus to die for my sins and the sins of the world. I receive and believe Christ for granting me righteousness. I thank you for making me alive in Him. Thank you that as Christ arose I too are made alive with him. I too am seated with him at your right hand. It is through His authority that my identity is found in you. It is through the anointing of the Holy Spirit, your love and favor that I am able to experience the eternal life you made available to me.
Father God, I cover myself with Jesus blood. I ask your Holy Spirit to restore me, renew me and lead me in this time of prayer. I stand in total agreement with your Spirit as my intercessor. God, you alone are Life. You have become my life. I love you, worship you, and trust you. I renounce all other gods, all idols, and I give you the place in my heart and in my life that you truly deserve.
Affirm Your Faith in Christ
Father, thank you for loving me enough to send Jesus to die for my sins and the sins of the world. I receive and believe Christ for granting me righteousness. I thank you for making me alive in Him. Thank you that as Christ arose I too are made alive with him. I too am seated with him at your right hand. It is through His authority that my identity is found in you. It is through the anointing of the Holy Spirit, your love and favor that I am able to experience the eternal life you made available to me.

God, you alone are Life. You have become my life. I love you, worship you, and trust you. I renounce all other gods, all idols, and I give you the place in my heart and in my life that you truly deserve.
I
bring the life and the work of Jesus over (husband/wife, and/or children and grandchildren, by
name) and over my home, my household, my vehicles, finances, all circumstances and situations. I
bring my family under your authority and covering of your blood. Apply to them all that I now pray on their
behalf.
Humble yourself
and Confess any known sin
Father, I thank you for ransoming me with
your own son's blood. I love you, I worship you, and I trust you. I give myself over
to you, to be one with you in all things. I renounce all pride and religious
self-righteousness and any dignity that does not come from you. I am ransomed and transferred to your kingdom, my sin nature is
removed, my heart is circumcised unto you, and every claim made against me is
disarmed this day.
Repent of All Sins
Search
me, know me, and reveal to me my sin. I confess all my sins before you (name any that the Holy Spirit reveals to you). Forgive me of my sins (name them). Reveal to me where you are working in my life, and grant to
me the grace of your healing and deliverance. I die to my flesh, to the world system, and to Satan. Crucify my pride, arrogance, and unbelief. I put off the old man and submit to your authority over my life.
·
Forgive all other people:
By decision of my free will, I freely forgive all
who have ever harmed or wronged me. I lay down all bitterness, all
resentment, and all hatred. Specifically I forgive… (name them)”
·
Break with the, occult and all false
religions:
I sever all contact I have ever had with the occult
or with all false religions, particularly… Reveal to me any open window in my
life that would open my being to the influence of the occult or false religion.
I commit myself to get rid of all objects associated with the occult or false
religion.
· Tear down
all idols:
There are things of this world that vies for my
affection and worship. Things that have a place in my life (family..., home...,
finances..., job..., and things...) but that are blessings that you have given for our
survival and comfort but not to take the place of worship in our lives. Reveal
these things and help me to destroy them as my idols and to place them in their
rightful place.
·
Prepare to be released from every curse(stronghold)
over your life:
I thank you Father, that on the cross Jesus was made a curse, that I might be redeemed from every curse, and inherit the your blessings. Reveal to me any stronghold (depression, lies, criticism, bickering, etc.) On
that basis I ask you to release me from any curse in my life that I have
inherited from Eve or my ancestors. Set me free to receive the deliverance I
need.
Take your stand with God
God, I take my stand with You. I submit to You, and I resist the devil. I accept you as
my authority, rule, and everlasting victory against Satan and his
kingdom, and in my ability to walk in your way. I now bring your authority, rule and dominion over my
life, my family, home, household, vehicles and finances, and over all circumstances and situations that affect my life. I bring your authority, rule
and dominion of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the fullness of the work of Christ,
against Satan, against his kingdom, against every foul and unclean spirit come
against me. (At this point you might want to name the spirits that you know
have been attacking you). I bring the full work of Jesus Christ against every
foul power, and against every human being and their warfare. I bind
it all from me and my family (name them) in the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ and in his Name.
I have been raised with you to a new life. Apply to me the fullness of your
resurrection.
Holy Spirit, I receive your clothing and power from on high. You have become my union with the
Father and the Son; become the Spirit of truth in me, the life of God in Counselor,
my Comforter, Strength, Guide, and me. I honor you and I yield my spirit, soul, body, my heart, and mind to you alone, to
be filled with you. My desire is to walk in step with you in all things. Lead me in all truth. Anoint me and lead me into a deeper intimate relationship with you.
Thank you for granting to me every
spiritual blessing. I put on the full armor of God – the
belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of the gospel, helmet of
salvation. I take up the shield of faith and sword of the Spirit, and I choose
to wield these weapons at all times in the power of God. I choose to pray at
all times in the Spirit.
I summon the angels in the authority
of Jesus Christ and command them to destroy the kingdom of darkness that surrounds me and destroy all that is raised against me. I ask your Spirit to raise up prayer and intercession for me this day. I now call forth the
kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ throughout my home, my family, my kingdom and
my domain, in the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, with all glory and honor
and thanks to him. To my Father in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
